Help at an event

You can support us at our events around the county by:

  • Helping to communicate the benefits of joining CPRE by helping us for a couple of hours or more at our information stalls at events around the county such as summer fairs, countryside festivals, and council-led events such as West Berkshire’s Climate Change Conference, or at larger events such as the annual Royal County of Berkshire Show
  • Organising an event, with our support, that ties in with one of our initiatives, such as a night of stargazing for the annual Star Count, part of the Dark Skies initiative, a litter pick, or a talk by an expert about the history and importance of Hedgerows to the Berkshire landscape
  • Helping us at one of our events, such as our recent Open Meeting about the proposed inappropriate housing development at Jealott’s Hill, Bracknell.

Perhaps you have other specific skills and ideas to offer, or ideas for holding your own fundraising activity to support us.

If you are interested in getting involved or would like to know more, please get in touch with Gloria Keene our Branch Secretary on 0118 930 6756 or by email.

The English countryside is wonderful – help us to look after it.
