Help grow our capacity and influence by becoming Chair of CPRE Berkshire

We’re seeking someone with a keen and deep passion for countryside and environmental issues who wants to make a difference in Berkshire. Does this sound like you?

Ideally you will have some experience of charity governance (voluntary or professional) or board management, the ability to inspire others, and the vision and imagination to develop our future work.

This is a real opportunity to reinvigorate and develop a forward plan for CPRE Berkshire, build on our 10 campaign priorities and help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity and sustainable transport.

We are looking for a diplomatic and articulate communicator, with good knowledge of Berkshire and the issues facing our countryside and the issues our countryside, rural communities and towns face, or a willingness to learn. You will be passionate about the countryside and possess the imagination and leadership skills to move our plans forward with a strong vision and purpose.
