Berkshire volunteers win awards from National CPRE

Two CPRE Berkshire volunteers, Sheila Atack and Penny Desmond, have been awarded The CPRE Special Contribution Award by the national charity. Sheila won her award for giving over 10 years of voluntary service with CPRE Berkshire as Honorary Treasurer. The citation records that she “demonstrated due precision and accuracy through periods of significant change”. Penny Desmond has been a CPRE Berkshire volunteer for over 20 years and during that time she “consistently demonstrated a flexible and friendly approach administering the main fundraising programme.” CPRE Berkshire Chair Greg Wilkinson was on hand to present Sheila and Penny with their well-deserved awards.
