The Trustees of CPRE Berkshire are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen and offer their heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and our support and loyalty to King Charles III. CPRE the countryside charity has been honoured to have Her Majesty The Queen as our Patron throughout her long reign.

Her Majesty showed unwavering support as Patron of CPRE, and was well-known for her love of the countryside, her passion for the landscape and for encouraging conservation efforts across the world. Since she became our patron 70 years ago, the Queen has taken a keen interest in our work both at national and local level.

‘It is the end of an era for the country and for CPRE and one we are truly grateful to have been a part of.’

We offer our sincere thanks for her unstinting support for the countryside.
